I have always loved writing. Even as a young child, I would make up stories, write plays and invent new characters. My writing style has never been conventional, although when it comes to a classic romance story, it’s as conventional as it gets!
I wrote Chapter One at a time in my life when I was feeling very vulnerable. I had just had a cancer scare; we were all going through a pandemic and I lost a very young family member.
I realised that life was too short to miss out on the things I always wanted to do. Creative writing was a way for me to cope and was a personal goal I had always wanted to achieve.
